just saw olivier’s crispin’s day speech. wow. i’m glad i saw ken’s version first! this would’ve totally turned me off shakespeare. too high-pitched. too stiff. sounds like he’s talkin from a podium or sum’in.

the branagh speech is just much more accessible and natural. more moving. the first time i saw this, i got goosebumps. my boy hasn’t reached his full hotness potential, though. lol.

btw, i hate that the dvd doesn’t have the making of that the laser disc had. wassup widdat?
